A consortium of individuals from all walks of life who strive to achieve the common goal of putting forth a forum to debate the issues of the day, disseminate (SMASH) information and create a positive hip hop community based on progressiveness and intellectual stimulation.

MISSION

Smash Crew aims to usher in a new age of meaningful and substantive non-partisan discussion to fill a void in the media that excludes the progressive hip hop community.  Smash Crew seeks to bridge the gap between the established political, intellectual, academic and progressive community with the current hip hop generation.  Smash Crew endeavors to establish itself as a leading socially and culturally relevant source of information on political literacy, education and information that will enable and empower individuals and communities to actively participate in creating change in media disparities by providing continuous dialogue with educators, politicians, media experts, researchers, public officials and activists.
